TRIP ITINERARY

Day 1

  • 07H00
    Departure based on your choice according to your location, with a comfortable 42-seat coach or a 15-seat minibus with a driver.
    Coffee-break possible during the road.
  • 11H00

    Stop during the road to visit the Hospices of Beaune, self-guided tour of the group with an audioguide.

    This historical and majestic monument is an emblematic heritage of Burgundy. Its impressive Gothic-style architecture will charm you. With the audioguide, you will learn more about the history of the Hospices of Beaune, from its foundation in 1443 to the latest Wine Auction, covering the development of its vineyard and the evolution of hospital care.

    Free lunch in the city centre of Beaune that you will reach directly by walking from the Hospices.
  • 14H30
    Departure for the mustard factory in Fallot (approx. 500m from Hospices of Beaune).
  • 15H00

    Start of the group tour.

    The Moutarderie Fallot is an independent Burgundian family house since 1840. Despite its industrial machines, it has managed to preserve the craftsmanship of the mustard maker. Thanks to its interactive journey that takes the visitor through the centuries.

    Arrival in Dijon, take the rooms in a 3* Hotel near to the historical city center of Dijon, then free time.

  • 19H30
    Dinner in the city center restaurant, near to the hotel. The three-meal course is included (except drinks).

Day 2

Breakfast included and served at the hotel.

  • 09H30
    Departure for a wine tasting in la Côte d’Or, followed by an aperitif served with local specialties.
    Optional coffee break en route.
  • 14H00

    Back to Dijon and free time to stroll in the old town. Possibility to stop shopping in « la Toison D’or ».

    More then 160 shops, the mall of la Toison d’Or is the biggest shopping center of Burgundy.

    Dinner in a city center restaurant, near to the hotel. The 3-meal course is included (except drinks).

Day 3

Breakfast included and served at the hotel.

  • 11H00

    Departure by foot to the historical center of Dijon to discover the Owl's Trail.

    This walking path reveals 22 stops to learn more the heritage points of interest in the Burgundian capital. It takes about an hour of walking to explore each stage of the city center.

    Or in option: Escape game « The Mystery of Castrum » (max. 5 participants per Escape Game)

    Your group will be divided to solve the riddle of the Escape Game. The mystery of Castrum will help you discover a part of the history and the heritage of Dijon.

    Free lunch in the city center of Dijon. CHF 25.- extra per person for the Escape Game

    Return to the bus and take the road back to the starting point.
