TRIP DESCRIPTION

Spend a day discovering the local traditions of Gstaad and Pays d’Enhaut. Ride in a horse-drawn carriage, explore Gstaad and its famous boutiques, then watch a paper-cutting demonstration and try your hand at this traditional craft.

TRIP ITINERARY

  • 08H00
    Depart from the pick-up point of your choice in a comfortable 42-seater coach or a 15-seater minibus with driver.
    Optional coffee break en route.
  • 10H30
    Arrive in Lauenen (10 minutes from Gstaad) for a ride in a horse-drawn carriage in and around the Rohr Nature Reserve. An aperitif will be served along the way.
  • 12H30
    Dine on a three-course meal at a restaurant in Gstaad’s pedestrianised city centre.
  • 14H30
    Return to the minibus/coach to travel onwards to Château d'Oex.
  • 15H00
    Arrive at the Museum of Old Pays-d’Enhaut. Watch a demonstration of paper-cutting, one of the region’s traditional crafts, and try your hand at creating your own paper cutting.
  • 17H00
    Return to the coach/minibus for the journey back to your departure point.
