To explore the rich Piedmont region, Intertours will take you on a 3-day journey through the italian lands. Make your trip enjoyable by stopping in Stresa, where you can visit the Borromean Islands and relax there for a few hours. In Turin, you will travel around the surroundings of the city by making a stop in the Piedmont vineyards.

TRIP ITINERARY

Day 1

  • 07H00
    Departure based on your choice according to your location, with a comfortable 42-seat coach or a 15-seat minibus with a driver, heading to Stresa. Then take a break at an Hotel-Restaurant near Visp with an included coffee/croissant/orange juice.

  • 12H00

    Boat crossing on the Lake Maggiore from Stresa to Pescatori Island, free choice of lunch in one of many restaurants on the island.

    There are five Borromean Islands, but only three are open to visitors. A small haven of peace, Pescatori Island is the smallest, but really singular with its narrow streets and tiny fishermen's houses.

    Back to Stresa, then carry on the journey to Turin (approx. 2 hours).

    Turin is a city located in northern Italy and is the capital of the Piedmont region. The beautiful Basilica di Superga overlooks the city, offering a breathtaking view. Turin's boulevards are adorned with stunning Baroque buildings and old coffee shops, while its huge squares showcase a wonderful blend of modernity, history, and majestic palaces.

    Arrival in Turin, check-in at a 4* Hotel near the train station and close to the historical center of the city. Free time at the end of the afternoon to stroll through the narrow streets.

    3-course meal served at a restaurant near the hotel.

Day 2

Breakfast included and served at the hotel.

  • 08H30

    Departure by bus for a full-day guided tour in the Piedmont area. An english-speaking guide will be on board.

    Visit the Grinzane Cavour Castle, an UNESCO site.
    Guided tour of a renowned Barolo winery with a wine tasting.
    3-course meal served at a typical regional restaurant.
    Bus departure from the region towards Turin.

  • 15H30

    Back to Turin and free end of the afternoon.

  • 19H30
    3-course meal served at a restaurant near the hotel.

Day 3

Breakfast included and served at the hotel.

  • 09H00
    Departure by comfortable 44-seat bus with a driver to Aosta (approx. 1 hour and a half road).
  • 10H30

    Stop in Aosta, free visit of the city center, then an included meal in a downtown restaurant.

    Surrounded by beautiful mountains, such as the Mont Blanc, the Matterhorn, and the Grand Paradis, the Aosta's city center is charming with its shopping streets, a beautiful church, and a lovely town hall.

    Return to the bus to go back to the starting point.
